Woman racially abused on board Gatwick Airport to Bedford train

Detectives investigating a threatening verbal incident on board a train heading between Gatwick Airport and Bedford are today releasing CCTV images in connection. 

At approximately 12.30pm on 21 September, a woman was on board a Thameslink service when she was verbally abused by a man. 

The man was threatening the woman with violence, saying that he had acid and intimated he had a knife. The man also used racially offensive language. 

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
