Assault on board train between Rotherham and Doncaster

Officers are today releasing images of two passengers at Rotherham Station who may have information relating to this incident.


The incident occurred between Rotherham and Doncaster, where a member of railway staff was verbally abused after asking to inspect tickets.


When the victim tried to call the police he was pushed against a door crushing his body in the gap.


The incident occurred on Sunday 26 August between 8.17pm and 8.40pm.

Officers would like to speak to the men pictured in the images because they believe he may have information which could help officers investigate.
