CCTV released after serious assault - South London

Do you recognise this man?

Officers would like to speak to him in connection to a serious assault at New Malden station.

On 14 September at approximately 3.40pm, two men who hadn’t bought tickets were stopped from boarding a train.

They became verbally abusive and when the victim tried to call the police, one man pushed and punched him before throwing him to the ground.

The victim sustained serious head injuries and remains in hospital.

One man has been identified in connection to this incident. However, officers are today appealing for help in identifying the man in these CCTV images as they believe he could have information to assist the investigation.
