ScotRail train damaged by group of youths - Dundee

Officers investigating a vandalism on board a ScotRail train to Dundee are today appealing for witnesses to get in touch. 
 
Between 10.15pm and 10.40pm on 8 September, a large group of youths were on board a train which was travelling from Edinburgh Waverley to Dundee. 
 
During the journey, the youths significantly damaged two tables, ripping them from the mountings. It is estimated that the damage cost more than £1,100 in repairs. 
 
Early equiries suggest that the youths joined the service Ladybank and Cupar stations. 
 
Officers are conducting a number of enquiries, including seizing any available CCTV evidence. However, today they are appealing for witnesses to this vandalism to get in touch.
