Man stabbed outside Stevenage RailwayStation

Officers investigating a serious stabbing outside Stevenage station earlier today (Saturday 8 September) are appealing for witnesses to get in touch.

Just before 4.30pm this afternoon, a man was violently attacked and stabbed. A short time afterwards a man was arrested a short distance away from where the attack took place.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

Detectives are asking that anyone who was in the general area of Stevenage Railway Station and saw anything suspicious, to please get in touch.
