Men and woman sought in connection with sexual assaults – Birmingham

Do you recognise these people?

Officers from British Transport police would like to them in connection to separate sexual offences in the Birmingham and Wolverhampton areas.

The following CCTV images relate to the below incidents: 

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Graham Moss from BTP, said: “Unwanted sexual behaviour on the rail network will never be tolerated and we are working hard to investigate each of these incidents. I would be keen to hear from anyone who has information on who the people in these CCTV images are. I believe they may hold vital information which could help us investigate.” 


Photo 1 relates to two incidents: 

The first incident happened at approximately 9.05pm on 2 May. 

The victim boarded a train at Birmingham University and felt someone touching her feet shortly after sitting down. The man then left the service at Birmingham New Street station after being confronted by a member of staff. 

The second incident happened at approximately 3.15pm on 1 June. 

A man boarded a train at Birmingham New Street and sat directly opposite the victim. The man began staring at the woman, making her feel instantly uncomfortable. He then moved seats so that he was sat behind the victim. Shortly afterwards, he then repeatedly touched the victim with his bare feet. 

He left the train at Chester Road station.

At approximately 10.15am on 23 March, a woman touched a man inappropriately above and below the waistline and attempted to pull the man into the toilet with her.

The incident happened on board a train travelling between Wolverhampton and London Euston. 

The victim was understandably very shaken by this woman’s inappropriate and invasive behaviour.

At approximately 5.27pm on 20 May, a man boarded a train at Tipton station and sat opposite a woman. 

The suspect then touched himself inappropriately while looking into her eyes and making inappropriate comments to her. 

His behaviour and language left the woman feeling distressed.
