Man left with broken nose and eye socket after being attacked by group of youths - Birmingham

British Transport Police detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted by a group of youths at Gravelly station, Birmingham yesterday (30/08). 

Shortly before 7.10pm, a man in his thirties was attacked by a group of seven youths after getting into an altercation with them on platform two. 

During the altercation, the man fell onto the tracks and his phone was taken from him. 

The victim was treated in hospital for a broken nose and eye socket and other more minor injuries to his face and leg. 

Officers are today appealing for witnesses to this assault to get in touch.
