Update: Sexual assault on board train between Bathgate and Edinburgh

Detectives from British Transport Police recently appealed for information following a sexual assault on a train between Bathgate and Edinburgh. 

During the journey on 18 August, a woman was touched inappropriately by a man at approximately 5.15pm. 

As a direct result of this appeal, a man in his thirties has contacted BTP and is helping officers with their enquiries. He will be interviewed in relation to this matter is due course.
