Update - assault at Barking station, east London

Shortly before 4.50pm yesterday evening (02/08) officers were called to Barking station following reports of an assault in the station. 

Officers attended and a 20-year-old man from Canning Town was arrested on suspicion of ABH and a 25-year-old man from Euston was arrested on suspicion of GBH. 

A third man, aged 23 and of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and ABH. He was taken to hospital initially for treatment to a hand laceration. 

All three men are in police custody as enquiries continue.
