Appeal for witnesses after schoolboy spat at – Windermere

Officers are appealing for information after a man swore at a young schoolboy and spat into his hair.

At around 4pm on Wednesday 18 July, a 13-year-old boy went to board a train at Windermere station.

A man swore at him and called him a number of abusive names. The victim, who was getting on the train, then heard the sound of someone spitting. He later found spit on the back of his head.

Officers would like to speak to the man in this image, as they believe he may have information which could help the investigation.
