Unprovoked assault at Partick subway station – Glasgow

Detectives from BTP are appealing for information following a violent and unprovoked assault at Partick subway station in Glasgow. 

At approximately 7.30pm on 12 July, the 25-year-old victim was travelling home from work when he was approached by a man he did not know who punched him in the face.

This was an unprovoked and violent attack which left the victim with bruising and swelling to his face. 

The suspect was white, approximately 5ft 9ins and believed to be aged 30. He was of a large build and had stubble. He was wearing a dark baseball cup and a blue polo shirt. 

The subway was very busy at this time and officers believe there could have been a number of passengers who witnessed what happened.
