Update: Cable theft cost industry over £52,000 - Sheffield

We believe they may have witnessed the theft of railway signalling cable near Lowfield, Sheffield on 24 May which cost the railway industry over £52,000. 

The incident happened at around 2pm when 20m of cable was taken from the tracks behind Bensons Flooring and Carpets store, on Guernsey Road, Sheffield.

Three men were seen leaving the car park of Bensons Car Park shortly afterwards.

Officers believe the men in these CCTV images may have witnessed this incident.
