Do you recognise these men?

We’d like to speak to them in connection with two public order offences; one on a train between Oxenholme and Penrith station and another at Penrith station. Both were on 12 June.

The first incident happened at around 8pm on board the 18:10 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service, between Oxenholme and Penrith stations.

Two men were heard using racially offensive language, before leaving the train at Penrith. They later returned to the station, at around 10pm, where they were then abusive to members of staff.

When challenged about their behaviour, one of the men tried to punch a member of station staff several times.

The men left the station after passers-by intervened.

Officers believe the two men shown in these CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise them or have any information which could help the investigation, please text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 430 of 25 June. Alternatively, ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
