Serious assault - Sittingbourne

Officers are appealing for information after a boy was stabbed in the buttocks at Sittingbourne station.

At around 10.35pm on Saturday (16 June), the 17-year-old was sat on a platform at the station.

He was approached by a group – two of whom attacked him and stabbed him in the buttocks.

The boy received hospital treatment but was later discharged.

It is believed a grey Ford Transit Connect van was involved in the incident.
