We’d like to speak to him in connection with an assault at Birmingham New Street station on 4 April.

At approximately 8.25pm a man asked a male passer-by for money. When the victim refused, the man started to shout abusive comments at him, before he threw an object at his head and stood in front of the victim in a threatening way.

The man then punched the victim multiple times to the head causing him to fall over.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to swelling and bruising to his eye.

Officers would like to speak with the man shown in the CCTV image as they believe he may have information which could help the investigation.
