Robbery at Cheltenham Spa station – Gloucestershire

Detectives from British Transport Police are currently appealing for information following a robbery at Cheltenham Spa station in Gloucestershire. 

At approximately 11am on 23 May, a number of men were involved in the incident which occurred in a secluded area of the station car park. During the robbery a quantity of cash was taken. 
Police attended and a man aged 26 from Gloucestershire was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been released under police investigation whilst further enquiries continue. 

PC Zena Willumsen from British Transport Police, said: “We are urgently working to understand what happened and who was responsible. I am therefore looking to speak with anyone who was at Cheltenham Spa station at approximately 11am on Wednesday and may have knowledge of this incident. 

“If you saw a group of men acting suspiciously, or any vehicles acting in a suspicious way, please contact us as a matter of urgency.”
