Officers are appealing for witnesses to an incident where a teenage girl was subjected to racist and sexual comments on board a train at Balloch station.

The incident happened between 8.50pm and 9.20pm on 13 May.

A young boy – who was amongst a group of four other boys aged between 14-17 – shouted a racially inappropriate and sexually explicit comment to a teenage girl.

He left the train at Balloch station – along with another boy from the group - after the driver refused to move the train until he did so.

The boy is described as being aged between 12-13, white, approximately 4ft 6ins, with short fair hair.
