Officers are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance on board Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley train on 5 May.

The incident happened at 7.40pm near Falkirk.

A man started swearing, shouting and being aggressive to a passenger on board the ScotRail service. The guard on board the train then challenged this man’s behaviour, however the guard was then targeted with abuse. The man then left the train at Linlithgow station.

The man is described as being white, well-built, approximately 6ft, with shaved red hair, ginger stubble and multiple tattoos on both arms. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans.
