Appeal for information following assault – Four Oaks

Do you recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him in connection with an assault at Four Oaks station.

The incident happened at 10.30pm on Friday 23 February.

The victim, a 35-year-old man boarded a train at 10.15pm at Birmingham New Street station. Upon entering the carriage, the victim asked a man, who was playing music loud on board, if he could turn it down.

The man reacted and verbally threatened him.

At 10.30pm the victim exited the train onto platform 1 at Four Oaks station. The same man followed and confronted him on the platform. The victim escaped but was chased by the man and assaulted.

The offender kicked the man causing several injuries to his head.

A full Investigation was launched with officers speaking with witnesses at the time of the incident.

Officers would now like to speak with the man shown in the CCTV images as he may have information which could help the investigation.
