Do you recognise this duo?

Officers from British Transport Police are looking to trace them in connection with an attempted robbery and assault on a Thameslink train.

Two teenage boys boarded a service at West Hampstead station at approximately 8.20pm on 5 April. The boys were being anti-social and were threatening passengers. A man travelling on board the train challenged the boys’ behaviour, asking them to stop.

The two teenagers became instantly aggressive and started to assault the man. When he left the train at Harpenden, the youths assaulted him further and tried to steal his rucksack.

This was an unprovoked and violent assault, but thankfully the victim did not sustain any serious injuries.

Officers believe the teenagers shown in the CCTV images may have information which could help the investigation.
