Appeal for witnesses after man struck by train – Tonypandy

Officers are appealing for information after a man was stuck by a train at Tonypandy station.

The incident happened on Monday 9 April.

Shortly after 5.20pm, a man sustained a life changing injury after he was struck by a train at the station. The man remains in hospital where he is receiving crucial care.

Whilst enquires are in their early stages, at this time it is believed this was a tragic accident.

Officers are aware that this incident was witnessed by two teenage boys, and are today appealing for them to get in touch.

They may have vital information which could help, likewise officers are keen to offer them support following this distressing incident.
