Do you recognise this duo?

Officers from British Transport Police are looking to identify them in connection to two bike thefts from Doncaster station.

The two thefts happened between 2pm and 3.30pm on the 26 March and the 3 April. On both occasions, two men approach the cycle racks and, using an angle grinder, cut through the locks and steal a bike.

Both men then made off in the direction of West Street towards St Sepulchre West.

Officers would like to speak to the men shown in the CCTV images as they may have information which could help the investigation.

Information can be passed to BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 153 of 10/04/2018. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Unfortunately, bicycles remain a popular target for opportunistic thieves and officers would like to remain cyclists on bicycle security. Remember to use strong, durable locks and ensure that your bike is registered at www.bikeregister.com.
