Do you recognise this man?
We’re like to speak to him in relation to a robbery at Sutton Coldfield station on Monday 2 March.

At around 4.45pm, a 17-year-old boy was waiting for a train when he was approached by three men. They took hold of his arm and threatened to stab him if he tried to run away.

The men forcibly took him away from the station, threatened him again, and made him hand over his watch, gloves and iPhone earphones.

It was snowing outside and the men tried to take his coat away from him, but they ran off when a member of the public intervened.

Officer PC Donovan Flores said: “Since the incident, the victim no longer feels safe on the railway and so does not go out with friends in Birmingham – all because of the callous actions of these three individuals.

“I urge anyone with information to get in touch so we can stop this happening again.”

Officers would like to speak to the man in this image as they believe he may have information which could help the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016, with reference 349 of 2 March.
