Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for information following an assault at Shoeburyness station in Essex.

The incident happened shortly after midnight on 5 February. A member of staff asked a man to leave a train as there were no further services going to London.

The man then became aggressive and punched the member of staff multiple times to the head. He received some swelling to the left eye as a result of the punches. 

CCTV images are now being released in connection to this assault. Officers believe the man shown may have information which can help them with the investigation.
