Officers would like to speak with him in connection to an assault at James Street station in Liverpool, Merseyside. 

At approximately 8pm on Saturday 3 February, a man was refused to travel on board a Merseyrail service due to his intoxicated state. This man then became aggressive towards members of staff, verbally abusing them. 

He then lunged out at one member of staff, grabbing him in an aggressive manner. The force of the contact knocked the member of staff’s body worn camera onto the floor. 

This unprovoked left him feeling shaken. 

Officers would like to speak with the man shown in the CCTV images as he might have important information which could help them investigate.
