Do you know who this man is?

We’d like to speak to him in connection with a robbery.

The robbery happened just after 1pm on Monday 15 January.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, boarded a train at Manchester Piccadilly with his friend and travelled to Liverpool Lime Street station.

The offender boarded the train at Warrington and sat next to the victim and his friend.

He immediately became aggressive towards the victim and asked why he was ignoring him. The victim had not realised he was being spoken to as he had his headphones on.

The offender then began to threaten the victim, threatening to stab him and throw him out of the train window.

He also demanded money.

At Liverpool Lime Street, the offender forced the victim to go to a cash machine where he demanded the victim withdraw money to give to him, which the victim did.

The offender then walked out of the station.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV images as he may have information which could help the investigation.
