Update: London Bridge affray

A 27-year-old man remains in police custody, in relation to an incident of affray at London Bridge station this morning.

A 23-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of affray, remains in hospital being treated for minor injuries.

A fight between the two, who are both from London, is believed to have started on a Northern Line train and then spilled onto the southbound platform at London Bridge.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident, or thinks they may have information which could help. They are asked to please contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016, with reference 88 of today.

Notes to editors: An earlier statement said that three people had been arrested in connection with this incident. It has now been confirmed that only two people were arrested.
