Officers are appealing for information following an assault at Hamilton Square station. 

The incident happened on 10 January at 6.13pm. 

The victim, a BTP PCSO, was on patrol at the station when a man came through the barriers to use the toilet. After leaving the toilet, he tried to leave the station without a ticket. 

The PCSO tried to stop him and then an altercation happened, which left the PCSO with a dislocated finger. 

The man ran off in the direction of Bridge Street.

Officers would now like to speak to this man in the CCTV image as he may have information that could help with the investigation.
