CCTV images released in connection to multiple bike thefts – Hampshire / Surrey

Do you recognise these two men? Officers would like to speak with them in connection to multiple bike thefts at Surrey and Hampshire stations. 

Between late October and early December, five bicycles were stolen from Aldershot, Ash Vale, Camberley and Frimley stations. British Transport Police officers investigating these thefts are now linking the offences. 

An image is now being released of a man in connection to these thefts. Officers believe he might hold vital information which could help them investigate. 

Anyone with any information is asked to contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 379 of 26/01/2018. 

Alternatively, pass information to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. 

Unfortunately, bike remain a popular target for opportunistic thieves and officers would like to remain cyclists on bicycle security. Remember to use strong, durable locks and ensure that your bike is registered at www.bikeregister.com.
