We are appealing for information in relation to an incident of graffiti that took place between 12.30am and 5am on Friday 22 December 2017.

A number of train carriages were damaged due to extensive graffiti spray paint while they were parked in the sidings at Moor Street Station.

Today we are releasing an image of two people we would like to talk to in relation to this incident as they may be holding valuable information that could help our investigation.

Senior investigating officer, Detective Constable Dave Rich said, “Graffiti damage affects the service that train companies are able to offer their customers. Although this incident may seem victimless, the damaged property has had to be taken out of service and cleaned. Ultimately this negatively impacts upon  passengers. If you have any information regarding this incident we would urge to come forward.”

If you have any information or recognise the individuals please call BTP 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference number 258 of 24 January 2018
