CCTV images released following assault – Kings Cross, London

Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for help in identifying a man sought in connection to a violent assault. 

The incident happened at Kings Cross station on 10 November. 

At approximately 5.30pm the victim, a woman aged 52, was walking through a concourse on the Underground. She was amongst a busy crowd keeping to the left of a main walkway. 

A man was walking in the opposite direction of the crowd and shoulder barged the victim. The man then turned around and followed the victim to the top of a flight of stairs. 

At the top of the stairs, the man then kicked the victim in the back, causing her to fall down the stairs. 

This was an extremely violent assault which was completely unprovoked. The victim was left with a fractured bone in her wrist along with bruising and soft tissue damage. 

Officers would like to speak with the man shown in the CCTV images as they believe he holds important information.
