We’re appealing for information after a woman was assaulted at Drumchapel railway station.

At around 5.25pm on 22 December, a woman was on a train when a group of men boarded at Anniesland.

One of the men approached the victim, and started harassing her. When he was getting off the train at Drumchapel, he then threw a bottle of beer at her, hitting her on the shoulder.

He then shouted sexual comments from the platform, which caused her great distress.

The man was white, in his late teens and was around 5ft 10ins. He was wearing a black beanie hat, black jogging top and bottoms and Air Max-style training boots.

The victim was comforted by a member of the public.
