We’d like to speak to him in connection with a vicious attack on a man at Crewe station.
The incident took place on Wednesday, 1 November at 7.30pm
As the victim, an A&E doctor, entered the vestibule to leave the train he asked a man who was arguing with his partner to please stop swearing as there were children present.
The man then began verballing abusing him.
The abuse then spilled out onto the platform at the station when the man punched the victim, causing him to fall to the floor, where he continued to be punched and kicked until a member of the public intervened.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV images as he may have information which could help the investigation.

If you recognise him, or have any other information which could help, please call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference number 245 of 15/12/17.
