CCTV images released after attempted burglary – Blundellsands and Crosby

We are releasing CCTV images of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with an incident of attempted burglary and criminal damage at Blundellsands and Crosby station.

At around 12.30am on Friday 6 October, a man attempted to force open the locked doors of the waiting room/shelter on the Liverpool bound platform of the station using a large crowbar. 
Despite his failed attempt to enter the waiting room he did manage to cause significant damage to the doors.

The cost of the damage is estimated at almost £5k.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV images as he may have information which could help the investigation.
