A man has been convicted of assault and threatening and abusive behaviour.

Errol Henry, aged 40, of Marham Close, Nottingham, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and one count of threatening and abusive behaviour.

He pleaded guilty before his court date.

He was ordered to undertake 80 hours of unpaid work over six months.

The charges relate to an incident on 25 August this year on board a train from York to Edinburgh Waverley, when Henry assaulted a 39-year-old man who was also travelling on the service. He had to be restrained by other passengers whilst police were called.
