Do you recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him after a man stole a car and crashed it in the car park at Doncaster railway station.

At around 9.30pm on Sunday 12 November the victim, a 36-year-old man, left his car engine running whilst getting out to put luggage in the boot.

As he was doing this, a man got into the car in the driver’s seat and tried to steal it.  He drove a short distance before crashing in the car park. He then ran into Doncaster.

Officers believe the offender may have been trying to travel to Gainsborough as he was previously seen trying to catch a bus there.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV images as he may have information which could help the investigation.

If you recognise him, or have any other information about the incident, please call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference number 477 of 12 November.
