CCTV image released in connection with endangering safety - Westcombe Park, London

Do you recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him in connection with an incident of endangering safety on the railway.

At around 10.45am – 11am on 13 November, at Westcombe Park railway station the victim, a 27-year-old man, was approached by another man who seemed to think the victim was a West Ham fan.

The man pushed the victim against a train, causing him to fall down between the platform and the train.

He then violently kicked him.

The victim’s girlfriend pulled the offender away from the victim and was also assaulted by him. She did not sustain any injuries.

The victim then managed to climb back onto the platform and defend himself.

He sustained concussion and minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

Officers would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image as he may have information which could help the investigation.
