Witnesses sought following assault on Northern Line train – North London

Officers from British Transport Police are looking to identify witnesses following an assault on a Northern Line train. 

The incident happened at approximately 7.10pm to 7.20pm on Thursday 28 September. The victim, a man in his late twenties, boarded the service at Belsize Park Tube station. Three other men boarded the same northbound service as the victim. 

During the journey one of the men then approached the victim and punched him. At Golders Green station, the three men left the service, as did the victim. At the station exit, the victim was assaulted again. 

He sustained a cut to his lip which required stitches. 

Officers are now looking to speak with anyone who was on board the Tube and saw what happened. Likewise, if you know the men who are responsible, please get in touch. 

The first suspect is described as a white man of slim build, approximately 6ft 2ins, aged in his late thirties and with short hair. He was wearing a cream t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and white trainers. 

The second suspect is described as a white man, large build, approximately 40 to 45 years old, roughly 5ft 7ins and with short dark hair. He was wearing a red t-shirt with a logo in the middle and dark trousers. 

The third suspect was also a white man of large build. He was 5ft 7ins and had short balding hair. He was approximately 40 years old and was wearing a white long sleeves top and black trousers.
