Witnesses sought to large fight on board train to Cwmbran – Wales

Officers from British Transport Police are hoping to identify witnesses to a large fight on board a train heading towards Cwmbran. 

The incident happened at approximately 8.50pm on Saturday 14 October on board the 8.10pm Arriva Trains Wales service between Cardiff Central and Cwmbran. 

Whilst on board the train, a group of males began fighting. Multiple punches were thrown and officers believe there are victims who have not yet made any formal complaints. 

Officers are therefore appealing for witnesses and victims to get in touch as soon as possible. 

Two men aged 21 and 22 were each arrested on suspicion of common assault. They have been interviewed in relation to this incident and released under investigation. Enquiries continue.
