Officers have issued an appeal following an incident of theft and attempted fraud at Skegness railway station.

The incident happened on 23 September at 3pm.

The victim, a 65-year-old man was with his wife when the behaviour of a group of passengers caused them to move from the front of the station to the benches outside of the station.

The victim went to a nearby pub and found he was missing his bag.

The victim had left his bag behind when he moved away from the rowdy group.

When he returned, the bag and contents were gone. The man later found that transactions on his bank card had been attempted in the hours after the theft.
