Officers were called to Bayswater London underground station following reports of a person struck by a train.

The call came into police shortly after 5pm.

Officers attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.  A man has been taken to hospital with injuries, not considered be life threatening.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident.

He is currently in police custody helping officers with their enquiries.

Anyone who was at the station at the time of the incident and has any information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 citing reference 397 of 02/11.
