Officers are appealing for information after a woman was threatened by two teenage girls on a Jubilee Line service between Southwark and Finchley Road.

At about 1.30pm on Thursday 26 October, a woman was travelling on the tube and asked a young person to take their feet off the seat.

Two teenage girls, unconnected to the incident, started an aggressive confrontation with the victim.

Despite her trying to reason with them, they made repeated violent threats until she moved away.

Their threatening behaviour left her so intimidated, she asked fellow passengers to protect her if they attacked.

Both girls were aged between 15 and 16-years-old. One of the girls was white and had light brown hair, pulled into a ponytail, and a round face. She was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans and a white top.

The other girl was tanned and had dark hair pulled into a ponytail. She had brown eyes and a mole under her left eye.

Officers are investigating the incident, including looking at mobile phone and CCTV footage, but would like to speak to any witnesses.
