A man who repeatedly exposed himself on trains and stations around London has been sentenced, after pleading guilty to four separate charges.

Christopher Gardner, of Upper Walthamstow Road in London, pleaded guilty to four counts – which covered seven occasions - of outraging public decency at Blackfriars Crown Court on 29 September.

Between 19 September 2016 and 12 October 2016, the 35-year-old travelled on trains around the capital. He would look at a person, before exposing himself and touching himself inappropriately.

This happened on a number of occasions on trains and stations at Finsbury Park, Euston, Palmers Green, Wood Street Welwyn Garden City and Wood Street.

He was arrested by BTP and was sentenced to an eight month sentence, suspended for 24 months, a five year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, victim surcharge of £140 and to sign on the sex offender register for 10 years.

Det Con Dean Percival said: “Gardner targeted lone women and children, and in doing so, frightened them with his disgusting behaviour.

“Quite simply, this behaviour will not be tolerated, we’re pleased that Gardner is subject to a five year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will not be able to continue with this pattern of offending.”
