Detectives from British Transport Police are releasing an image of a man who is wanted after failing to appear at court.

Tasim Qinami, aged 19 of no fixed address, was due to appear before Blackfriars Crown Court on June 28 this year charged with one count of sexual assault.

The charge relates to an incident on board a train between Twickenham and Richmond on 1 November 2016 where a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.

Qinami failed to appear at court and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Since the warrant was enacted, numerous attempts to arrest him have been made. Officers are now releasing a custody image of Qinami in an attempt to locate him.
