A man who urinated on a woman at a Drake concert at Manchester Arena has narrowly avoided jail.
Mohammed Elhabbal was at the Drake concert with a friend on 11 February this year when he urinated on the leg of a woman sat in the seat in front on him.
Feeling the liquid she turned round to see him tucking his penis away and when she confronted him about what he had done, Elhabbal simply smirked at her. Disgusted by his actions she alerted security staff who attempted to eject Elhabbal from arena. He became aggressive and officers patrolling nearby in Victoria station were called and he was subsequently arrested.
After initially pleading not guilty, Elhabbal, 27 of Headfield Road, Dewsbury,  was found guilty on 14 August and was sentenced at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 31 August  to 20 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months, and ordered to undertake 200 hours unpaid community work and pay £685 towards costs, compensation and the victim.
Inspector Michelle Wedderburn from British Transport Police said, “We police the Arena and this disgusting behaviours is certainly not something we have seen before.
“Urinating on some unsuspecting concert goer’s leg is vile and I hope that his appearance in court and subsequent suspended sentence teaches him a lesson and sends a strong message out that this sort of revolting behaviour won’t be tolerated.”
