 Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for information following a racially aggravated incident, which took place at Birkenhead Central station on Friday, 25 August around 6pm. 

A member of rail staff was racially abused by two men he believed to be intoxicated and was concerned about them being unfit to travel.

The 36-year-old victim approached the men as they entered the station before they headed towards platform 2.

CCTV images are now being released of two men officers wish to speak with in connection to the incident, as they may have information which could help with the investigation.
