Racial abuse toward rail staff at Blackburn station - Lancashire

Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for information following a racially aggravated incident at Blackburn station. 

A member of rail staff was racially abused by a man after he challenged him regarding a ticket irregularity. 

The incident happened by the ticket barriers on Saturday 22 July at approximately 4.50pm. 

After he racially abused the member of staff, the man left via the front exit at the station. 

CCTV images are now being released of a man officers wish to speak with in connection to the incident, as he may have information which could help with the investigation.
