Can you help officers identify a man wanted in connection to an assault at East Croydon station?

The assault happened between 2.30pm and 3pm on Thursday 6 July. The station manager was called to the footbridge at the station after reports of a ticket dispute with a passenger.

The station manager tried to calm down an escalating argument however the passenger then attempted to punch the member of staff.

At the ticket barrier the passenger then spat at the station manager with the spittle landing on his face.

The offender is described a black man, approximately 6ft, of an athletic build and had short hair. He was wearing a black cap, black t-shirt and light coloured shorts. He was approximately 18 years old.

If anyone was at the station at this time and saw what happened, then please get in touch.
