Newcastle fan charged with being drunk and disorderly following incident on train

A football fan has been charged with being drunk and disorderly after an incident on board a train to Newcastle station following the Premier League match held in Huddersfield yesterday, Sunday 20th August.
 
Karl Kerridge, aged 40 was arrested by officers who had been accompanying travelling football fans on the train back from Huddersfield at around 7.15pm last night, on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and was later charged.
Kerridge, of Avon Street, Gateshead, will appear at Newcastle Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 5 September.
