Assault on train between Leeds and Doncaster – Yorkshire

We’re appealing for information after a man was punched in the face on a train between Leeds and Doncaster.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, got on a train at Leeds at 10.20pm on Saturday 5 August. He was travelling with a female.

They sat next to two men and were chatting and joking, when suddenly one of the men punched him in the face. It left him with a black eye.

The suspect got off the train at Adwick train station, whilst the victim stayed on until Doncaster and then informed police.

Do you recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him in connection with the assault.
